You all know what a fan I am of Living Beyond Breast Cancer (www.lbbc.org). I am particularly admiring of their conferences which are always beautifully planned and organized. This is an announcement of their planned meeting in Philadelphia in October. Note that there is financial assistance for those who otherwise could not come. Do consider going.

LBBC's Annual Fall Conference focuses on the latest medical and quality-of-life news at all stages of breast cancer diagnosis. During this year's plenary sessions, Wendy Demark-Wahnefried, PhD, RD, professor of behavioral science at UT-MD Anderson Cancer Center, will discuss how fitness and nutrition impact treatment, recovery and life beyond breast cancer, and Emmy award-winning journalist Lu Ann Cahn will speak about her journey through breast cancer.
You will also have the opportunity to attend workshops on a wide variety of topics and connect with speakers, exhibitors and other women and caregivers.
