At our September teleconference, Carey K. Anders, MD, will discuss the feelings you may have when treatment ends. She will share practical tips for managing your concerns and follow-up care. During this teleconference, you will:

- Understand the feelings you may have after treatment ends and the lingering fears of the years beyond
- Learn skills to cope with your feelings and find more support
- Discover practical tips to ease your concerns, including making a post-treatment plan with your doctor
About Our Speaker
Dr. Anders is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Her clinical interest is in breast cancer, specifically breast cancer arising in younger women and those who have developed brain metastasis. Dr. Anders is a translational researcher who is involved in the design of clinical trials and preclinical laboratory experiments at the Lineberger Cancer Center. Her lab focuses on understanding the complex biology and signaling pathways involved in metastatic breast cancer to the brain. Her goal is to move her preclinical findings to the clinic.
