One (likely) explanation would be that I am not feeling very creative this morning. Almost a week of blistering hot and humid weather has limited my energy and made it difficult to move other than languidly through the day. I am thinking about all the Southern ladies before air conditioning who sat on their porches with sweet tea and hand fans. They probably took naps every day, too.
