I am attaching information about a planned Yoga Retreat in Tulum, Mexico (south of Cancun). Fanny Barry is a fabulous woman and a breast cancer survivor who totally changed her life after her illness. SAMPLE ITINERARY - subject to modification depending on group needs
Each day of your retreat will start with yoga tailored to your needs, a healthy breakfast, ample time for relaxation and individualized body work.
Day 1 - We will meet your flight at Cancun airport and escort you to your hotel where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean upon arrival. After reflective relaxation, allow us to host dinner by the beach and review the activities for the next seven days.
Day 2 - After yoga and breakfast, we will host a Mayan Mud Massage session under the shade of the palms. Allow your bodies to be pampered into healing as we teach you how to apply Mayan Mud and allow you to experience this gift of the Mayan Riviera. After a light lunch, Fanny will conduct a journaling as art workshop and then encourage participants to relax or write or draw on the beach. For dinner, we will organize a visit to Tulum pueblo for a taste of Mexico.
Day 3 - After yoga and breakfast we will continue a relaxing day at the beach interspersed with individualized therapeutic massage treatments for those interested. Lunch will be served informally by the beach. Dinner will be hosted at the hotel as we conduct a Mexican Cooking class. Learn the art of mole and flan or basic fajitas and guacamole followed by a gentle moon ceremony on the beach to allow our intentions to be released into the universe.
Day 4 - As always, the day will start with yoga and a healthy breakfast followed by a trip to a local cenote, the healing waters sacred to the Mayan culture and considered the true fountain of youth. Dinner will be hosted at a local restaurant. In the evening we will experience the healing power of music, dance and laughter as we take salsa lessons and dance under the stars.
Day 5 the day will start with yoga and a healthy breakfast. We will have a meditation session and pranayama breathing in the afternoon. Dinner with follow at the hotel and leave some personal time for reflection and intent.
Day 6 the day will start with yoga and a healthy breakfast. Time for relaxation on the beach and a sunset tour of the lagoon in the world renowned Sian Ka'an Biosphere with dinner following at Cesiak in the biosphere.
Day 7 will allow for sunrise swim followed by yoga and breakfast with final wrap up before transfer to the Cancun airport.
