Hardest Part of Cancer

Some of you have participated in the survey that has been posted on the Support Net homepage:

It asked what was the most difficult part of your breast cancer experience. Here are the results Anxiety 44.44%, Surgery 0%, Chemotherapy 16.67%, Radiation Therapy 0%, Losing Your Hair 16.67%, and Other 22.22%.

It is not surprising that anxiety was the largest problem for the most responders. What we did not ask was what the anxiety was about. Please click on the link above to go to a new survey which will try to learn more about this.

And please comment here about your related thoughts. I am guessing that the primary anxiety for all of us is recurrence and death. At least for me, that is worry #1, #2, and #3. Coming further down the worry list are things like the impact on our children, husbands/partners, financial problems, ongoing fatigue, etc. It would be especially interesting to hear from those of you who checked "other." Please tell me what has been the hardest for you.
