Patients Experience of Ambulatory Care

What Our Patients are Saying About Us

BIDMC surveys patients who have received care from us. We focus our questions on access, the visit experience, the clinic environment, the communication with the providers and the likelihood of recommending BIDMC’s outpatient/ambulatory clinics to friends and family. We survey patients from all primary and specialty settings, including several of our community based programs. We are combining this feedback with information from our Mystery Shopping Program and our work to improve Appointment Access, to provide quicker and better appointment experiences. The following information summarizes the percentage of “Very Good” responses—the highest rating on the rating scale.
