Sahar Kohanim, MD, has joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's
Division of Ophthalmology in the
Roberta and Stephen R. Weiner Department of Surgery as Director of Cornea and Refractive Surgery and Director of Inpatient Consultation Services.
Kohanim received her medical training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston and comes to BIDMC following the completion of her fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery also at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Kohanim provides care for patients with corneal disease and cataracts, and those requiring refractive surgery. She also provides consultative ophthalmologic services for inpatients.
