Professional Development in Medical Education

Fostering the development of our faculty as exemplary medical educators is paramount to the BIDMC academic mission. The Office of Professional Development in Medical Education works to enhance the educational expertise and skills of faculty so they may provide the best educational experiences possible for learners across the medical education continuum. The Office is committed to the cultivation of faculty as teachers, mentors, and scholars. It works to enhance the faculty’s knowledge and skills in teaching and strives to promote and recognize the faculty's excellence and innovation in medical education and scholarship through a wide array of professional development programs and offerings. These include:
