As part of the vibrant academic community affiliated with Harvard Medical School, the Joint Center for Radiation Therapy offers outstanding educational opportunities for physicians seeking a career in Radiation Oncology. Each year, three residents are accepted into the four-year program. Residents rotate through the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, The Children's Hospital, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the residency program provides a structure and environment designed to prepare individuals for a career in academic medicine. Its member hospitals serve a large number of patients, giving residents broad exposure to clinical and research experiences.
