Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Program
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has a long tradition of excellence in advanced endoscopy, and is the largest referral practice for ERCP in New England, and one of the largest in the nation. Over 2,000 ERCPs are performed annually, many involving complex interventions for patients referred from other medical centers. Our program performs 1,200 EUS procedures annually. Advanced endoscopy fellows also receive extensive experience in endoscopic mucosal resection techniques, and broad exposure to novel endoscopic therapies including radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy, laser lithotripsy, and cholangioscopy. Most fellows complete one year of training, although some elect to pursue additional time for additional clinical training or research.
