This committee is a part of the renewed effort by the medical center to increase diversity among house staff and faculty. We believe in improving the strength of our medical center by developing awareness of the needs of our diverse patient and employee population and by promising to deliver the best, culturally sensitive medical care in Boston. Under the direction of the BIDMC Office of Multicultural Affairs, we will further these efforts by creating a environment welcoming to underrepresented minorities and supportive of community outreach in the Boston area.
