The Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program, jointly sponsored by BIDMC-MMHC and the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and supported by a significant grant from the DMH, includes 60 residents over a four-year program. This program is one of the most highly sought in the country.
The Massachusetts Mental Health Psychology Internship Program is a one-year, highly competitive program, which admits five trainees per year.
Harvard Medical Students see patients at multiple departmental sites as part of the second year psychopathology course, and rotate through the Department as part of the core psychiatry clerkship.
Other training programs include ones in social work, nursing, occupational therapy, and mental health counseling.
