Veroxity Golf Tournament 2008
Veroxity Technology Partners hit a hole-in-one for the Klarman Family NICU at BIDMC
July 28, 2008
On July 28, Veroxity Technology Partners of Bedford, MA, tee'd up to benefit the Klarman Family Newborn Intensive Care Unit at BIDMC at the annual Veroxity Charity Golf Tournament. Now in its 15th year of operation, the Klarman Family Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides state-of-the-art, family-centered care for over 1,200 high-risk newborns and their families each year. As a Level III nursery, the Klarman Family Newborn Intensive Care Unit has the finest expertise and utilizes the latest technology and equipment to care for the most fragile and imperiled newborns.
Veroxity employee Jon Swanson and his wife, Jennifer, delivered twin boys prematurely—at just 24 weeks—at the Klarman Family NICU on January 1, 2003. Thanks to the care they recieved, twins Avery and Nathaniel are now happy, healthy kindergarteners.
The tournament fell on a beautiful summer day, and was held at Ipswich Country Club in Ipswich, MA. Jon's coworkers signed up to play, and, along with several corporate sponsors, raised critically needed funds for specialized equipment, medical supplies, and facility improvements to care for critically ill newborns at the Klarman Family NICU.
