Major League Minds at Fenway Park

On June 16, BIDMC physicians, researchers, friends, and donors gathered at Fenway Park to celebrate the winning team of clinicians and researchers that make up Neuroscience Center. This highly collaborative team of neuroscience physicians and scientists are breaking all kinds of records in their field.
Attendees viewed several short films about the leading-edge neuroscience care and research at BIDMC, listened to remarks by hospital administration, and heard from patients and families who have experienced BIDMC's patient-centered care in neuroscience first-hand. Attendees also had an opportunity to pose for photos with the World Series Trophy and with Wally the Green Monster.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is the Official Hospital of the Boston Red Sox and Red Sox Nation, which made the Fenway Park setting for this celebration of BIDMC's all-star neuroscience team particularly meaningful. Toward the end of the evening, a lightning storm arrived in downtown Boston, lighting up Fenway Park for seconds.
