Red Sox Connection

Recently, BIDMC Orthopaedic Surgeon Andrew White enjoyed the chance to meet Red Sox legend Jim Rice at a BIDMC event at Fenway Park.

For members of the Spine Center team, every Red Sox connection is a good one whether it's meeting a patient who's also a fan, being interviewed for a story on RedSox.com about how athletes handle back injuries or a chance to sit down with a Red Sox legend at Fenway Park.

Like staff throughout the medical center, the Spine Center team is proud that Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is the official hospital of the Boston Red Sox. Not only are Fenway Park and the medical center neighbors, but BIDMC also provides first-aid care at every home game at Fenway.

Dr. White also met Oil Can Boyd at Fenway.

BIDMC works with the home team and the Red Sox Foundation on health center and community programs, honoring our commitment to the communities and families we both serve.
