Welcome Deborah Nagle, MD
Deborah Nagle, MD, Chief of the
Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, is now seeing patients in the
Department of Surgery at
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham on Fridays.
Dr. Nagle and
Jeanne F. Quinn, MS, APRN-BC, bring their expertise in colon and rectum disease to BID-Needham, providing a convenient location for patients wishing to have outpatient visits and surgeries closer to home.
As part of the medical staff at BIDMC, Dr. Nagle introduced, developed and continues to promote the use of minimally invasive colorectal surgical techniques. Dr. Nagle was part of the team that developed the port of single incision laparoscopic surgery and began the first robotic colon and rectal surgery program in Massachusetts.
Accomplished in her field, Dr. Nagle has been recognized here in Boston five times with Best Doctors honors; most recently in 2011. She has also been recognized on the national level receiving America's Top Doctors for Cancer honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Jeanne F. Quinn, MS, APRN-BC
Jeanne Quinn has been a nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since 1989. She completed her Master's degree at Simmons College with subsequent certification as a nurse practitioner in 1998.
Jeanne has worked with patients in the BIDMC Divisions of Trauma, Orthopedics, Anesthesia, and Colon and Rectal Surgery. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported, informed, and respected.
