MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic modality that produces detailed images of the body without the use of ionizing radiation. Patients at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham have access to the most sophisticated MRI technology available, and as of Fall of 2010, that care will be provided in an all-new MRI suite in the new South Wing of the hospital. MRI scans enable radiologists to visualize the body function and structure and are frequently used in neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and cancer imaging.
