Radiology Services at Chelsea
The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chelsea is approximately seven miles north of Boston, which allows patients the choice of having their imaging services closer to home. Services provided to the public are diagnostic X-ray, digital mammography and ultrasound.
The department is conveniently located on the first floor and is easily accessible to all with both accessible bathrooms and dressing areas.
Routine diagnostic X-rays such as chest, abdomen and bone radiographs are performed as a walk-in service dependent upon physician orders. Ultrasound and digital mammography services are by appointment only, although same day screening mammography exams can be performed.
All of our staff are trained in adult and pediatric imaging. We also have bilingual staff, which is an asset to our department, and interpreter services are available as well. Our board certified radiologists are the same radiologists who read images at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, therefore providing the same standard of care to all of our patients.
