Michael P. Alexander, MD, directs the program. He has over 30 years experience in clinical care of patients recovering from TBI (traumatic brain injury) and other neurologic diseases, as well as in research about recovery.
Alvaro Pascual-Leone, MD, PhD, directs an extensive research team investigating the mechanisms of recovery from TBI and potential interventions to improve recovery.
Nancy Madigan, PhD, is responsible for neuropsychological assessments and some of the educational interventions that will emerge from the evaluation.
Natasha Swan, PhD, is a post-doctoral fellow responsible for the assessment of psychological factors of the injury and development and implementation of symptom management programs individualized for each patient’s difficulties.
We are located in the Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and collaborate with colleagues in social work, the Headache Program, the Epilepsy Program, the Trauma Service and the Neurosurgery Service to provide every aspect of appropriate care.
