Nutrition Coordinator/Registered Dietitian
Melinda Dennis, MS, RD, LDN
Melinda is a registered dietitian who specializes in counseling patients with celiac disease and is Nutrition Coordinator of the Celiac Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was diagnosed with celiac disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis in 1992.
Melinda is the founder, former chairperson and co-Newsletter Editor of the Healthy Villi Greater Boston Celiac/DH Support Group and now serves as their Nutrition Advisor.
Elisabeth Moore, RD
Elisabeth is a registered dietitian at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center who specializes in gastrointestinal issues, including celiac disease and food intolerances.
She works closely with the dietitians and gastroenterologists in the Celiac Center and within BIDMC to provide education on specialized diets.

Laurie A. Higgins, MS, RD, LDN, CDE
Laurie is a pediatric nutrition educator working in the Pediatric/Adolescent Unit at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA. She completed her undergraduate work at University of Rhode Island, and her Masters in Nutrition Science at Framingham State College.
Laurie worked at the Harvard-affiliated Boston Children's Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts for 18 years. Her expertise includes nutritional management of diabetes, celiac disease, gastrointestinal diseases and food allergies. Laurie presently sits on the Board of Directors of the Celiac Support Group at Children's Hospital Boston and of the Healthy Villi: Greater Boston Celiac/Celiac/DH Support Group.
