Bowdoin Street Health Center Patient Survey Corner
WE CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK!
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide our patients with the best possible care, we ask them to complete a patient satisfaction survey four times a year.
In October, 2011, 242 patients completed our survey at the time of their visit. 36% of the respondents were Cape Verdean, 33% African American, 7% Latino, 7% Caucasian, 2 % Asian and 3% other.
One of the areas that we asked about was how well we are addressing YOUR goals for improving YOUR health. Our goal is to do that 75% of the time. Here is what you said:

55 percent of patients responded "Yes, always"

26 percent of patients responded "Some of the time"

12 percent of patients responded "None of the time"

7 percent did not respond
We have room for improvement and are piloting some ways to make sure we address your goals at every visit. As part of your health care team we are committed to helping you be as healthy as you can be. So at your next visit, please tell us how we can work with you to meet your goals. If we don't ask you- please ask us why not!
Another important question we asked was "Would you recommend Bowdoin Street Health Center to your friends and family"? We want at least 85% of our patients to answer: yes, definitely. Here is what you said:
