On December 12, 2011, Bowdoin Street Health Center received notification of recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Level III, Patient Centered Medical Home for the period of December 11, 2011 through December 14, 2014. This is the highest recognition possible and the result of a three year transformation of our practice under the leadership of Dr. Harvey Bidwell, Francine Azzara, RN, and Kathleen Barry, ANP to a team based, patient centered, integrated and coordinated delivery system of the highest quality our entire patient population.

The ICAN Medical Scholars Program

Bowdoin Street Health Center Patient Survey Corner
WE CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK!
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide our patients with the best possible care, we ask them to complete a patient satisfaction survey four times a year.
In October, 2011, 242 patients completed our survey at the time of their visit. 36% of the respondents were Cape Verdean, 33% African American, 7% Latino, 7% Caucasian, 2 % Asian and 3% other.
