Birdies for Charity
With the help of Grateful Nation – the BIDMC Development program that brings together patients, families, friends and staff of BIDMC to support the medical center, the Bowdoin Street Health Center will benefit from a unique fund-raising partnership with the Deutsche Bank Championship Birdies For Charity Program. Participants will have a chance to win season tickets to the Red Sox next year or a free trip for two to Bermuda.
Approximately 100 PGA golfers will take to the links at the TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., and compete to win the nationally-televised Deutsche Bank Championship on Sept. 4, 5 and 6. Simply pledge $10 and submit your guess for the total number of birdies the 100-plus PGA golfers will hit during the Deutsche Bank Championship. Last year, there were 2,291 birdies!
If you guess right, you could win season tickets to Boston Red Sox for the 2011 season! Everyone else who doesn’t guess right will be entered into a raffle to win a trip for two to Bermuda.
