At Tanger Be Well we try to provide a variety of ways for the community and BIDMC's employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We do this by providing a fitness facility, access to exercise physiologists, health educators and dietitians, educational series and seminars and much more.

Weight is Over

Weight Management Series

The Weight is Over is an eight-week comprehensive and educational weight management and weight reduction program. The program incorporates the 4 pillars of weight loss: exercise, nutrition, motivation, and recovery. Together, these four pillars will support your weight loss goals by teaching you the skills and techniques needed to make permanent changes.  To learn more, click here.

Going Forward

Designed for Cancer Survivors

Going Forward is an innovative six-week program that is specifically designed for cancer survivors. Our program provides participants with the tools necessary to successfully implement a nutrition, exercise and stress management program to improve overall health. Going Forward is led by a registered dietitian and exercise physiologists who will present the most up-to-date scientifically based information, as well as tackle lifestyle and behavioral changes important for cancer survivors. Prostate Cancer Wellness Program

Designed for Prostate Cancer Survivors

Free Lectures for Employees and the Community

Our workshops are generally one hour in length and offered during lunchtime for BIDMC employees and the community. These free lectures are presented by exercise physiologist, health educators, doctors, dietitians, and other financial and health professionals. To learn more, click here.

Free Screenings for Employees
