Heart & Soul Programs
BIDMC is committed to supporting four important areas - palliative care, geriatric care, social work and community health centers. These areas - our "heart and soul" programs - are services that tap into the fundamental traditions of the medical center. We deem them so essential to our social and community mission that we have made the promise to support these programs, offsetting sometimes low reimbursement rates.
By continuing our commitment to support these services for our patients and their families, we are building upon our mission of providing exceptional care for those who need it at any stage in their life.
